La Provence Restaurant is located in the heart of Bigfork, Montana and has become a favorite dining place for local residents and visitors from around the country. A three-star AAA rated restaurant, with a full liquor license, La Provence is owned by Chef Marc Guizol and his wife, Caroline, a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. Born in the south of France, Chef Marc is a graduate of Marie Curie College of Culinary Arts and brings more than 15 years of European and U.S. culinary experience to the Flathead Valley. An award winning chef, Marc prepares for his guests menu choices typical of his native Provence in the south of France and he and his wife, Caroline, have created a gracious and comfortable atmosphere characterized by high quality service and careful attention to each guest's special needs. They have carefully developed a selection of the world's finest wines which earned them Wine Spectator Magazine's top award in 2002. La Provence also offers the community its new Lavender Room, a private dining facility that seats up to 60 persons and which is ideal for birthday and wedding celebrations, office parties and those special gatherings of family and friends.
